Bomb Threat

I will never forget this day.  I used to be the producer for a well-known medium sized market talk show.  One day the host was going off on the air about how we should not give into the demands of terrorist against America on any level and live our lives as we normally would.  He was saying things like no matter what, we should not budge or alter our plans or daily activities due to these evil people who want to kill Americans.  20 minutes later, the program director approaches me and tells me to cut to commercial immediately.  We did not mention this on the air but we had received a bomb threat and the entire building had to be evacuated.  Anyone who was listening had to be confused because we went from his on air rant about terrorist, to a pre-recorded segment about the economy that ran for a good 20 minutes.  That was how long we had to wait outside the station until we were cleared to go back into the building.  Before we went back onto the air live I asked the host if he was going to address what had just happened and he said no.  He said it would take away the credibility and integrity of everything he previously said, so no one outside the station knew.
