Merry Freaking Christmas

One year we had an epic Christmas party.  We had the company throw our annual Christmas party at the radio station instead of at our usual venue.  This saved enough money to where they could provide us with a fully stocked open bar for the entire evening.  We were a mom and pop radio station so our Christmas parties weren't always as lavish as the corporate parties I would experience later in my career.

We spent the early part of the party getting hammered.  Nothing special there, but once everyone got liquored up, people seemed a little more buddy buddy than they normally would during normal business hours.  One of the part time personalities was caught by his wife making out with the receptionist.  His wife started screaming at him causing a huge scene.  Then, she started hitting him.  We laughed and made jokes cause it was funny.  It wasn't long after those hits turned into punches.  His wife literally beat him up in front of the entire staff.  In the days after he pretended that he did not remember the incident but we all assumed he was so embarrassed that he was just lying.
