Turn Off The TV

We had a night jock once that did not take his job very seriously.  On many occasions he would miss talk breaks because he was watching TV in the studio.  He was one the most unprofessional jocks I have ever worked with.  I cannot tell you how many times I would be listening and the song would end and jump into the next song without imaging.  Yup, another missed talk break.  It was so bad that even people who weren't in programming had caught onto it.  The APD had told me that he reviewed the security tapes to see what the night jock was actually doing at night in hopes to find out why he was missing so many talk breaks.  Comes to find out that he would roam the halls, have unscheduled guest come to the radio station, but the thing that he did the most was watch the television.  For months I had wondered why the program director did not fire him.  Later, we found out that he was sleeping with her.  Figures.
